Staged 2 Perfection is a locally-owned professional home staging and interior redesign company serving the Quad Cities and surrounding areas. My name is Amy Anderson and I am the owner and founder of Staged 2 Perfection.

Staged 2 Perfection’s mission statement is to dramatically transform your home and maximize its potential by enhancing and highlighting its finest features. We are committed to giving home owners the upper hand in today’s market by appealing to a broader range of home buyers, resulting in the fastest and most profitable sale possible while still providing exceptional customer service on any budget!

Staged 2 Perfection offers a wide variety of packages and products to fit into any families financial limits. I really want to make home staging affordable to any and all types of home owners. Our interior redesign packages are no different. Since home redesign isn’t held back by the time restraints of needing to put the home on the market, it is a process that can be done over time, giving you the ability to stretch out the design plan and tackle one project at a time and this makes home redesign more affordable for any family budget.

My Credentials and Background

I am certified, professional home stager and interior redesigner. I have received my certificate from HSR (Home Staging Resource) which is the first and only staging and redesign training and educational program that has been thoroughly reviewed and accredited by RESA (Real Estate Staging Association). HSR’s program is the most comprehensive and professional training program that is available today. I am also a member of the ASHSR (American Society of Home Stagers and Redesigners).

I have a natural talent for redesign and staging. I have been redesigning homes for about seven years, whether it be for my own home, or consulting for friends and family. I have just recently turned that great passion into a career and started doing it full-time.

Who Is Amy Anderson

I am a Christian woman who gives all credit for my business, talents and family to Jesus Christ! I strive very hard to live my life according to Luke 6:31 – And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise. This passage is also known as the Golden Rule which everyone knows as “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”  I teach it to children and I make every effort have it in the forefront of my mind at all times.

I am also a wife and mother! I have been married for almost eight years and we have six beautiful children. For a majority of the last nine years, I have been a stay-at-home mom. I have experience in many different areas including finance, banking, real estate and the hotel industry. I have my Associate’s in Applied Science from Black Hawk College, yet never did anything with it because of the need and desire to stay home with my children. All of my past work experience has given me insight to almost every aspect of the housing market which makes my experience and knowledge an asset to the home staging process!

I am also a do-it-yourselfer!  I can do most any small remodeling job around the house, including tile work, painting, carpentry, minor plumbing and electrical and installing hardwoods and laminate flooring.  My current home is a remodel in progress, and I have done a lot of the work myself. If I don’t know how to do something, I usually try to figure it out by either finding a book, researching the internet, or by calling my dad! He knows how to do it all!

My hobbies and interests include playing volleyball, reading, bowling and singing, just to mention a few.

Why Staged 2 Perfection was Started

I started this company for two main reasons. First was a desire to honestly help our community home owners get ahead. I have a great passion for people, and being a person whose family has also been greatly affected by the down-slide of our current economic state, I really want to provide a way to help. What better way to help out our community than by using my natural talents and passions to provide a way for home owners to sell faster and make more money in one of the worst markets, the housing market.  The second reason was to provide a career that allowed me to be flexible so that I could make myself available to my family. So taking my love and talent for staging and redesign, my strong desire to help my community and wanting to still be an available mother and wife, Staged 2 Perfection was created!

Goals and Aspirations

I have hopes and plans for the future to make this a growing family business. I have four daughters, so I would love to give them an opportunity to work beside me, if they choose! I guess my sons, too, if they choose to!

I also have plans to create a non-profit charity that provides a “stage” for underprivileged children. I already have the name picked out, Setting the Stage! Setting the Stage will be a non-profit that will give children who don’t have the financial ability to be involved in the arts. I know how important creativity and expression through music, dance, art and drama are to the development, growth and aptitude of our kids. Because of our declining economy, families have had to cut their budget and usually the first things to go are the extra-curricular activities, especially those of the arts. We have had to do the same thing with our children. It has given me a great desire to see children given every opportunity to learn to play the piano, to pirouette and to paint the most beautiful canvases in the world!
